Here’s a couple of ideas I’ve been having lately. My neighbor gave me a whole box of vintage bottlecaps complete with the cork still inside! They were so great, but I didn’t know what to do with them for a few months. But in the past couple of weeks I came up with these.
The first ones here are actually the last made. I came up with the idea for them while walking Marcus the other day. I thought them up only after a couple blocks, I almost turned around right then to go make them! He wouldn’t have been very happy with me though, so I didn’t. But I made them as soon as I got home! The silver wire actually runs through the bottlecap, allowing it a bit of freedom to swing around and show off that cool cork interior. The different colored glass bits just amused me.
The second pair I made a few weeks ago. I liked the idea of the glass hanging inside the bottlecap. but then you can only see the vintage logo on the back from behind. I guess that’s okay too, but its not ideal.
