One of the podcasts that we have to listen to daily is Funemployment Radio. They are a couple of people who used to be on the Rick Emerson Show on 101 KUFO before they fired all the interesting DJs (Like our friend Bobby “Fatboy” Roberts, and Cort). We didn’t listen to the Rick Emerson Show all that much, but when these two Sarah X. Dylan and Greg Nibler started their own podcast show, we got hooked.
They are just fun and goofy, talk about all the things Portlanders like: drinking, sunny weather, rock n roll, drag queens, dogs, weird Internet stuff, and general goofing off. Its just fun stuff, never insulting, mostly good natured. Listening to them feels like hanging out with your friends, even if you are doing it while stripping wallpaper (which I did BTW, while listening to Funemployment Radio last week, and it helped make the time go faster).
But back to the earrings at the top of the post! I got this idea last week that was sort of silly, which made me think they’d like it. I thought it would be awesome to stick their pictures (stolen from their logo) on some scrabble tiles. I think Sarah would like them, she’d mentioned making jewelry with their logo on it before, so I decided to go for it. Hope them like them, cause I just mailed them off.
